SHORT DAYS - Short Days - LP (D51)
Short Days hails from Lille, nothern France. They've released a bunch of ep's getting better and better record after record. We really loved their "Bleak City" 7" out last year and we were more than pleased when the band proposed us to corelease their first full length. So "Short Days" is out now, 11 tracks of energy and catchiness often compared to The Observers or Social Cyrcle. Youth Avoiders with a bit more of melody can also come to mind listening this killer LP. The band has had the great idea of including some keyboard parts here and there. The album was recorded in Roy-de-Rats studio in Leipzig, and mastered by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory.

EXHAUSTION - Surrounded By The Depths - LP (D50)
Taking influences from both sides of the Atlantic Exhaustion deliver an unforgiving hardcore assault. With ‘Surrounded By The Depths’ containing 12 tracks which weaver through many facets of hardcore bring medley of Scandinavian Kang punk, with the ferocity of Japanese hardcore, with a crushing sound similar to that of World Burns To Death and Deathraid. Simply put the Caen outfit are ones to watch this year as ‘Surrounded By The Depths’drops in April.

KALTE LUST - Passage Obligé / Dissolution - 7" (D49)
Two new songs from bordeaux Kalte Lust. These two new tracks bury you deeper in the gentle melancholy of Kalte Lust. Each of these songs explores its own aspect of coldness and darkness, from a slow hypnosis to a sour lullaby. The repetitive synth, the enveloping guitar and bass melodies, the haunted vocals remain the same from the previous releases but the band takes them to new level, opening a new window on a world of blackness. The lyrical introspection continues with sensitive words in French and English, contributing to the singular aesthetic. This fragile beauty comes in a great mat finish sleeve.

OSTAVKA - Ostavka - 12" (D48)
After a long delay due to rejected test presses... the records is finally arriving this week. Ostavka is a quite young band from Brittany, they had a demo and a first 7" released last year. Ostavka members have previously been in several punk/crust bands and are now exploring the coldest and darkest side of punk with lots of depressive and melancholic melodies. Beautiful guitar picking parts, chorus sound, tribal drums and incredible female vocals makes this first LP a perfect cold / post / punk record full of anthems.

BITPART - Beyond What's Left - LP (D44)
We're really happy to announce this release by BITPART. Beyond what's left is the second full length by the parisians punks BITPART and first release on Destructure. We saw the band playing live a several times through the years and got really excited by their new songs. Their music is full of sincerity and sensibilty. These guys have spent some times in the US and you can feel that it really influenced them in their music and lyrics. Their powerful pop is enhanced with 90’s noisy and grungy rock influences, the combination of male female vocals is outstanding. BITPART is the perfect incarnation of what a trio should be : with its great playing and sound, each instrument’s is bringing the best to the band and making each song super effective.

Destructure is teaming up again with this great band from Brest. SYNDROME 81 offer 5 new songs here. Their previous releases have been acclaimed by loads of punks accross the seas. On this new 7″ the band manages to carry on playing this great mix of catchiness and melodies and gives it more personnality and diversity. GASMASK TERRÖR - Chape de Plomb - LP (D42)
Hurray ! Bordeaux D-beat Hardcore veteran are back with "Chape de Plomb" their third full length. GASMASK TERRÖR carry on playing the urgent and straightfoward d-beat punk you love so much. This new album contains 11 songs made of rage and passion, the band has never sounded so good on a record before. Expect the same intensity as the way they sound live. For the first the whole lyrics are written in French, describing the world as it is ; bitter and disillusioned.

KALTE LUST - Pride Is Your Consolation Prize - LP (D40)
This release shows how the Destructure musical spectrum is wide. Bordeaux KALTE LUST features members of punk acts like GASMASK TERRÖR or WARNING WARNING among many others but expect something slightly different. Their first LP was critically acclaimed in both parts of the Atlantic. The band delivers a cold and melancolic post-punk often compared to Siouxsie and the Banshees and X-Mal Deutschland due to the female vocals and a strong 80's atmosphere coming up from their music. "Pride is your Consolation Prize" is a step forward, the band develops its personality with more variety and experimentation in the songs structures. This second album contains 8 new tracks sung in english, german and (for the first time) french.

EXHAUSTION - In the Realm of Defeat - LP (D39)
Here comes the debut album by Caen EXHAUSTION. Two years after the "Irrevence" 7" that we coproduced with Stonehenge Records, we are pleased to announce the release of the band first full length. "In the Realm of Defeat" contains 12 songs of raging punk-hardcore that gets its influences from both sides of the Atlantic and from different time periods and punk subgenres. GASMASK TERRÖR - 19101961 - 7" (D38)
With nearly ten years of existence, Bordeaux Gasmask Terrör has become a reference in the French DIY punk scene. These D-beat activists have delivered a bunch of great records and tons of intense shows in Europe, USA and Japan. "17101961" was schedulded for their upcoming east coast US tour with Youth Avoiders and we were more than pleased when the band proposed us to take care of the European press of this new 7". Gasmask Terrör carries on playing straightforward punk/hardcore with D-beat rythms and great riffing.
The lyrics are direct, insisive and politically engaged. They refer to French police exactions against Algerian people in Paris in the 60's. This is nothing but a fucking great punk recordz !

YOUTH AVOIDERS - S/t - LP (D37)
Youth Avoiders' first full length is exactly the best you would have expected after their different E.P's. These 5 guys combine great songwriting with great sense of melody and catchiness. This first album is made of 11 songs and the band hasn't feared to explore new things, more complex structures without loosing their energy and straightforwardness. The result is an urgent and solid record. This is the third Youth Avoiders' release on Destructure and like the "Time Flies" e.p it's a corelease with Build me a Bomb.

THISQUIETARMY - Bleeding Mess - 7" (D36)
Bleeding Mess' is a singular release in TQA's abundant discography. After a couple of full lengths and collaborative projects, this canadian Stakhanovite chose to develop his musical universe on a smaller format.

HARK - Mythopoeia - 7" (D35)
Ex-Taint frontman Jimbob Isaac returns with his new unit Hark ! The Welsh progressive-power-sludge trio carry Taint’s torch forward, passed on from their legacy that began in 1994. With fresh chops and almighty riff power, HARK continue to fuse punk attack with Sabbathian dirge and decorate post-whatever angularities with classic rock flourish.

CRUSADES - Parables - 7" (D34)
« Parables » is the new offering by Ottawa Crusades. After their highly acclaimed first full lenght « The Sun Is Down And The Night Is Riding In », this two songs 7″ takes the band to a new step. For those who are still not familiar with the music of the quartet, Crusades has a strong punk rock base but draws his inspiration from various hardcore/punk subgenres. The band develops their own musical universe with great song-writing, great sense of melody and multiple vocals. These two tracks combine a large dose of energy and catchiness to a certain kind of melancholy and darkness. Like in their previous releases, the band’s lyrics challenge religions with a personnal approach.

EXHAUSTION - Irreverence - 7" (D33)
"Irreverence" contains four new songs by Exhaustion from Caen (Fr)… These songs were recorded in the Normandy countryside at Swan Sound Studio by Guillaume "The Conqueror" Doussaud and are from the same session as their split with GaBLé. Exhaustion plays straightforward punk-hardcore influenced by several generations of punk bands from crust of the 80's to more modern stuff. Don't expect the now usual "neo-crust" thing but just some powerful punk made from d-beat rythmics, direct riffing, angry vocals and dark sociopolitical lyrics. This 7" comes with a 8 pages booklet containing lyrics and various texts dealing with the subjects treated in the songs : atheism, world wars influence on today's world, human self-limitation and self-destruction…
