« Irreverence » contains four new songs by Exhaustion from Caen (Fr)… These songs were recorded in the Normandy countryside at Swan Sound Studio by Guillaume « The Conqueror » Doussaud. Exhaustion plays straightforward punk-hardcore influenced by several generations of punk bands from crust of the 80′s to more modern stuff. Don’t expect the now usual « neo-crust » thing but just some powerful punk made from d-beat rythmics, direct riffing, angry vocals and dark sociopolitical lyrics. This 7″ comes with a 8 pages booklet containing lyrics and various texts dealing with the subjects treated in the songs : atheism, world wars influence on today’s world, human self-limitation and self-destruction… It’s a corelease with our long time friend and great label Stonehenge records.

Paris melodic punk hardcore band Youth Avoiders is now flying over the US to start their first tour there. Only playing west coast this time, 14 shows with bands like ACID FAST & BIG KIDS from Oakland and AUTISTIC YOUTH from Portland. People leaving near these cities don’t miss them or regret forever. We’ve been busy these past weeks, we had lots of work with the new releases and we are now happy to inform you that two new pieces of wax are ready to leave our HQ. The new HIPPIES OF TODAY 12″ containing 10 new raging songs recorded in december 2011 to celebrate 10 years of Destructure as a record label as well as the YEAR OF NO LIGHT / THISQUIETARMY split / collaboration 12″ are now out. Many of you have been supportive, buying records on pre order, or just sending warm messages about these new records and we want you to know that we are very grateful, this is important to hear from you that hours spent working on new records are not meaningless.
Next in line are the MACHETE debut 12″ and the EXHAUSTION debut 7″. Both will be ready in a couple of weeks. Take care friends.

YEAR OF NO LIGHT / THISQUIETARMY « Collaboration » LP

After the release of Ausserwelt, awesome record and critically acclaimed second album by YEAR OF NO LIGHT, we started talking last year with our old friends from Bordeaux about releasing something new from them. We talked about several projects of split and collaborations and eventually all agreed on the idea of sharing a new record with THISQUIETARMY from Montreal, Canada. This record pushes the idea of sharing a record to the extreme. Both sides start with a new song from each band, long songs (approx 12 min) which let both bands enough time to developp their own ambience full of intensity and melodic loops. These new songs are followed by collaboratives drones which prove that these two bands were made to work together and share a record…

HIPPIES OF TODAY « Hippies Of Today » 12″

This new release is a kind of 10 years birthday present for Destructure. Destructure started as a distro at the very end of the 90′s and our first release was HIPPIES OF TODAY 10″ which came out in december 2001. Hippies of Today was a grind/punk band from Caen & Le Mans (France) which was very active in the early 2000′s. They released a « s/t » 10″ and a split 7″ with The Index as well as a CD collecting all these songs. They played lots of shows in France, a european tour in 2002 and then disbanded due to lack of time and distance between members. Few months ago, at the end of 2011, HIPPIES OF TODAY members were asked to record a new album for some kind of label 10 years celebrations. After a couple of rehearsal week ends, the trio recorded 10 songs by itself in december 2011…

YEAR OF NO LIGHT & THISQUIETARMY Collaboration LP

A release that we’ve been working on for months is about to finally see the light of the day. We’re very happy to be able to work again with long time friends from YEAR OF NO LIGHT on this project that also gave us the opportunity to work with a new friend Eric from THISQUIETARMY. This new piece of wax features one long new song from each band (approx 12 min each), you’ll also discover two collaborative songs that prove that these two bands were made to work together and share a record. The LP is at the pressing plant as we speak and will be up for preorders next week together with another new release (keep your cyber eyes opened). During the wait, enjoy the first image of the cover assembled by one of ours truly.

To celebrate AUSSITÔT MORT safe return from cold Russia we’ve uploaded info and sound about Nagykanizsa CD on our Bandcamp page, those of you who haven’t heard their songs from last year studio session yet can now go on our page there and enjoy. Thanks to all of you that supported us and the band by preordering this release, records will ship this week. The combo with « DeadBird » and « Skull/Girl » shirts are availbale until the end of this week (actually until the end of preorder shipping), if you don’t want to miss that, you have to hurry up !

KARYSUN winter tour starts in two days.

KARYSUN have just posted on their website definitive info regarding their winter tour that is starting this friday. It will be their second spanish trip (with a show in Angers, France on the way and one in Porto, Portugal at the middle as bonus) and it will be their first time there in four years. There will also be a couple of shows in France right after this tour, including the Ben Salad 10 years anniversary festival in Le Havre that you’re all waiting for !

AUSSITÔT MORT Russian tour starts Tomorrow !

Caen post-hardcore group AUSSITÔT MORT is flying to Moscow tomorrow to start a 9 days russian tour. This is a new adventure for the band, a new country to discover and hopefully they won’t come back transformed as ice cubes. The new collection CD is still up for preorders, there is still that CD/shirt combo option that makes you save some money (CD + shirt is only 15 euros) so don’t loose time.

AUSSITÔT MORT « Nagykanizsa » CD

Nagykanizsa is a new collection of songs by French post hardcore group Aussitôt Mort. Just like the name of their first full lenght « Montuenga » (Level-Plane & Pure Pain Sugar – 2008), the name of this new record is a place the band had to cross during one of its numerous travels. Rather than releasing a second full lenght, Aussitôt Mort decided to share these new songs with friends : they are or will be released on various vinyl formats shared with japaneses Heaven In Her Arms, americans Catalyst, or on german label Adagio.
